Technical Assistance Services (01/08) 21
This is the ideal solution recommended by the IKUSI technical assistance service to users
for quick repair. It involves having one or several reserve transmitters, depending on the
number of remote controls installed, so as to replace the broken transmitter quickly and
simply.
The majority of the break downs of a remote control occur in the transmitter; it undergoes
falls, is crushed, etc. If we have a reserve transmitter, in addition to repairing the remote
control, in addition to repairing the remote control, we will not have to go up the crane.
1.Check on the registration that the two transmitters, broken down and substitute, work
on the same frequency band, 800 Mhz, 900 Mhz or 433 Mhz. If they are different we cannot
substitute them. Every user must know the frequency on which their units work to order the
reserve transmitter in accordance with their working frequencies.
2.Incorporate into the transmitter the parameters of personalization of the broken down
transmitter, following the steps described below, programming of a reserve transmitter.
4.10.- SUSTITUTION OF LOGIC AND RADIO TRANSMITTER DESK
1. Open the broken down transmitter and the reserve
transmitter removing the 4 fastening screws in each of
them.
2. Once the broken down transmitter is open, extract the
EEPROM EP7O. In the EEPROM EP70 are stored the
parameters of the unit.
3. Put the removed EEPROM EP70 module, into the
reserve transmitter. Once in place, close the transmitter.
4. Once the EEPROM EP70 is substituted, with battery, turn
the key to contact position and push and extract the stop
button. The LED indicator will light up a moment in amber,
will blink green for a few seconds and will turn off. Pushing
start the unit will begin to work.
