The change of frequency must only be made when we are sure that there are two units in
an installation with the same frequency. It must be noted that if a unit breaks down, it is not
repaired by changing the frequency. Every frequency change must be communicated to the user in
order to register it in his listing of units.
6.2.- COPYING OF EP70 IKONTROL
All of the parameters of a unit, working frequency, identification code, table of manoeuvres,
times, etc., are recorded on the eeprom EP70. Each unit has two eeproms that are exactly
identical, with the same data recorded, one in the transmitter and the other in the receiver. The
eeproms are identified with the serial number of the unit and there are not two units with the same
eeprom. A receiver will only start working when it receives the signal from the transmitter which
has its same eeprom.
Get near the receiver
Turn the key to the
contact position and
push and extract the
stop button. The LED
indicator will light up
green for a moment
and turn off.
Push the frequency
change button, button
with a triangle, and
then the start button.
Keep both pressed.
The LED blinks red at
the rhythm of two on,
one off, for 5 seconds
and then turns orange
for a few seconds; we
will then release the two
buttons.
We are in programming
mode and the LED now
indicates the base
channel it is working on
at that moment. It first
indicates the tens with
green flashes and then
the units with red
flashes. Then the LED
will emit burst of orange
light and will remain lit up
in orange.
The transmitter is in state
of frequency change. To
do this, we first push the
button, start in
frequency mode, “ “ as
many times as the
number of tens of the
new frequency and on
the button, input copied
from eeprom,
“ “ as many times as
the number of units of
the new frequency.
The LED will then
indicate the new
frequency with green
flashes (tens) and red
flashes (units) and then
the LED will emit some
bursts of orange light; it
then sends the new
frequency to the
receiver and on
finishing, turns
orange.
Example: If the unit is on
channel 17 the LED will
flash green once and red
seven times.
NOTE: If the unit has a
frequency under 10, as
the value of tens is 0 the
LED will not blink green
and will only mark the
units.
Example: If we want to
programme channel 13,
we will push the button,
triangle once and three
times the button, square.
NOTE: If we want to
programme a frequency
under 10, as the value of
tens is 0, we will only
push the button square to
mark the units.
If the programming has
been incorrect, repeat
the process.
If the programming has
been correct. Push the
stop button and when
the unit starts it will
work with the new
frequency.

frequency change mode
and introducing tens.
Button for
entering eeprom
copying mode to
introduce units.
