1.- INTRODUCTION

This assistance manual is designed to facilitate the location of failures by the person in

charge of repairs for the Ikusi brand distributor, who will have been suitably trained.

It contains the documentation necessary for assistance, through the replacement of cards

and spare parts, of Ikusi TM70 range remote controls.

The person in charge of the repair should take this manual with him for guidance whenever

there is a failure in a TM70 range remote control.

This manual has been drawn up by Ikusi Remote Control Technical Assistance Service,

based on the experience of repairs at its factories and on the field information gathered by each of

the corresponding distributors.

2.- INTRODUCTION TO REMOTE CONTROL

2.1.- DEFINITION

This is electronic equipment designed for remote radio control of elevating machines.

With the remote control, we can control bridge cranes, cranes for construction, concrete

pumps, hydraulic cranes, crushers, etc.

It consists of a transmitter for the selection of orders and a receiver, which is connected to

the electric system of the machine to be controlled. Moreover, the system includes a battery

charger, with two batteries.

2.2.- ADVANTAGES

Its use makes it possible to improve both productivity and safety. The operator can work

from the most convenient and safest position, as well as choosing the most appropriate route,

without the limitations inherent in hanging button panels and elevated cabins.
